Supercharged

After this saga, drivers here still don't think of giving way.

As I type away, I hope the drivers on lane 1 of CTE heading to City give way to the ambulance with siren and blinkers on.

I know, NVNT, but I am on lane 4 exiting and I still see drivers tailgating on lane 2 . Drivers on lane 1 cannot filter.

Let's pray this patient can make it in time.

good news. i can confirm this matrix driver is really as a**hole. look who went past me across the double white lines because he couldnt wait his turn to move forward. he overtook a few cars by going into the oncoming traffic lane and went past me.

Good, stir until he become the Jover Chew of the road. Hope SMRT Feedback or someone will expose him real soon!

TP should seriously look into road hogging issues.

Blocking of emergency vehicles has a more dire consequence than beating red light, speeding 50kph above the speed limit and even drunk driving, as the chance of losing a life is higher in such cases. Hence instead of a stupid 4 demerit point for blocking emergency vehicles, they should look at making the offence at top penalty.

Look at our stupid fine system, littering $300, jaywalking $20. Which is more dangerous and may cost life?

Few nights ago, I witness an accident at 11:00pm on ECP from my home. Quite fatal as the vehicle flipped 3 times. a jam was formed. Ambulance rushing to the scene had to queue up to reach the site because kaypoh drivers slowed down to see what happens as they drove by. Road ahead was wide and clear that anyone can easily do a zero to top speed testing if they wanted. Sometimes I wish these kaypoh drivers could experience it first hand, so they don't have to slow down to watch. Can stand there all they want, and even take part in the discussion.

take with a pinch of salt. If really serious, should be in real ambulance rather than "fake" one.

did i read that its not a scdf ambulance???

For all you know, they dabao lunch back to base to makan.....

I'm not the one who seems to keep finding reasons to cast doubts on ambulances.

Real or fake ambulances??? Seriously? WTF?

Then now, you insinuate they use the vehicle to da bao lunch???

People should never jam brake on an ambulance.

If they are trying to give an injection they might miss

and poke the wrong hole.

Jamming brake on an ambulance is just terrible.

:D

Yeah...

Except you also accused me of selective reading when I called you out on your earlier post about "fake" ambulance,

Now you call out Sabian on poor comprehension and selective reading...

Perhaps instead of pointing at others and "absolving" yourself, it might be appropriate to take a moment for a spot of self examination and reflection?

Although you may well only be making a joke, it's not coming across very well.

Maybe that's why the rabbit in your avatar is crying.

Bear must have been in a "fake" ambulance that was blocked by the same Hyundai Matrix and the ambulance probably detoured for Happy Meal at a McD drive-in on the way to the hospital....

Rabbit regrets not dialing for a real SCDF ambulance to this day.

Or maybe Brown was in the ambulance and that's why Connie was tearing.

You don't use LINE I guess.

Think about it guys, even if the vehicle behind matrix is not an ambulance, when you are in lane 1, you still have to give way to the faster vehicle behind you.

1. Did not give way to an ambulance.

2. Did not give way to faster vehicle behind him/her.

3. Jam brake unnecessarily.

yup...we all learn to eat on the run...and no leisure of 1 hr breaks. Literally eat to LIVE.

I made my stand clear and need not absolve myself.

suggest you tone it down. These exchanges to prove a point serves to boost your ego. I noted the 'fool', and 'idiot' from either of you and with all due respect, this is a gentle reminder not to get personal.

Anymore of these nonsense and I reserve the right to impose the peace we have at MCF always, regardless of whichever party initiated it.

Thank you

With regards to a fake ambulance, I would like to ask. What is an ambulance?

In the emergency department, I have received a person who's heart has stopped beating. Son was driving her to the hospital for an appointment when she collapsed. She was rushed to the emergency department.

I still remembered the son approaching me. I was going for my break but still in the dept. He mentioned he thinks his mother was like not in good condition. I wanted to direct him to the nurse on duty but from his tone, I felt something was wrong. So i told my friend we better check it out. His car was parked nicely at the ambulance porch. and he was talking to me politely [sweatdrop]

End up resus case. Patient was in cardiac arrest. Patient died.

Another incident was patient collapsed in a taxi and the taxi came to the emergency department, sounding out the horn. I was not on duty but my staff were. Patient was revived. I looked through the report cos it was my duty.

In both cases, they involved a private car and a taxi.

Lesson? While we should give way to ambulances, if there are private cars tailgating and flashing lights, sometimes, instead of hating that guy, just let him pass. If he was attending to an emergency, your conscience is clear. If he is just a speedster, let the law deal with him.

So right... i am guilty of hating those private cars / taxi who beam me.. but i am definitely not those who will block others who is closing in on my fast or tailgating... but i believe those who is really on such emergency will horn and beam non stop if got blocked by others...

The problem is there are lots of big egos in lane 1. Singapore has a lot, I dunno why. I drive in HK have much less of these people. People in lane 1 just give way if there is an on-coming vehicle driving faster.

Maybe COE too expensive -_- All think they are rich farks <_<
