Pms 3rd Gear August 25, 2013 Share August 25, 2013 Guys, need to ask some ideas on what could be happening if the car air con is not cold when stationary or normal drive but temperature drops when I start to rev the engine, and after that when resume to normal rpm, the temperature goes up again. Never encountered such problem before. Most of the hot air seems to be coming from the driver side air vents. Hope someone can help. It's gonna be another week before I can head down to workshop as I'll be on reservist... I think I have the same thing going on. This few weeks the aircon like no power in the afternoon sun, felt some warm air blowing. Night comes very cold. Is it me or is it the weather. ↡ Advertisement

If u worry , maybe can get your WS n see if need to top up the air-con gas or not. Just my 2cents :)
StefanK Supercharged August 25, 2013 Share August 25, 2013 same issue as mine , i tot you have settled this? mine was the cooling coil leaking....hence $900 changed at BKS Autopoint.. supposedly, it was settled with the refilling of coolant. It did work until today. Passenger side vents blow cold air, but driver side warm air. until I rev hard, the air became cooler. during my 100K servicing, no issues with leakage. during my night drive, cold air, but maybe it's my mind, but driver side air vents not as cold as passenger side. PeterKang Clutched August 26, 2013 Author Share August 26, 2013 Ron topped it up for me. After my reservist bring the car let him have a look see again. Oh ok. If its really something wrong with the air-con parts, he may ask u go to another WS @ bedok ind. because that time my van's issue also went to that shop he suggested. Once and it's done n working fine till now.

No, if my friend is driving normally, there's no such loud sound. U really need to ensure the exhaust is in good stock condition if not once u took over the car , I dun think the dealer will entertain u on that issue . Still not into Subaru set up Thanks look deeper below in between the air filter and engine. See if got lots of grease. If yes then your driver drive shaft boot is torn and lao sai all over. The grease might be on your exhaust thus producing the smoke and foul smell. I got my boot replaced today. This one thing most neglect till it lao sai. Pms 3rd Gear August 26, 2013 Share August 26, 2013 One side Boot plus labour $90. Another $30 to get my mech to takeout and clean the exhaust and all the grease at the lower engine area. I changed the passenger side too coz can see the boot is wet due to grease seeping. Better change before it tears too. Anyway since the drive shaft is taken out, I suggest to go for wheel alignment after that.
