Now that they have to resort to throwing the pigs, mean something is so seriously wrong that they dare not quietly sell or dump the pigs.....

Now that they have to resort to throwing the pigs, mean something is so seriously wrong that they dare not quietly sell or dump the pigs..... Some suspect pig farmers up stream of the river had illegally dump the animal carcass under the cover of the night instead of properly disposing them to save money. According source, there are over 900 pig farms around the region and due to winter, more animals will die during the cold season. 嘉兴一养殖户被立案 当地称农户处理死猪不花钱 该村有1400多农户,其中906户养猪,生猪养殖占全村居民收入的85%。王贤军说,去年冬天到今年春,村里死猪现象特别严重。 Edited March 14, 2013 by Wishcumstrue

Roh96 6th Gear March 16, 2013 Share March 16, 2013 Simply amazing that they can dump 12,000 pigs into the water like nobody's business. For the numbers reported in news, i would multiple it by factor of 2 for the real situation, especially from China. I would think the real figure should be much higher, maybe more than 20,000 pigs. Adrianli Hypersonic March 19, 2013 Share March 19, 2013 I am wondering if our NEWater technology would be able to fully clean our drinking water of the virus if our water source is contaminated with the swine bacteria. Process NEWater is the product from a multiple barrier water reclamation process: The first barrier is the conventional wastewater treatment process whereby the used water is treated in the Water Reclamation Plants. The second barrier, and first stage of the NEWater production process, uses microfiltration/ultrafiltration to filter out suspended solids, colloidal particles, disease-causing bacteria, some viruses and protozoan cysts. The filtered water that goes through the membrane contains only dissolved salts and organic molecules. The third barrier, and second stage of the NEWater production process, utilizes reverse osmosis (RO). In RO, a semi-permeable membrane filters out undesirable contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, nitrates, chlorides, sulfates, disinfection by-products, aromatic hydrocarbons, and pesticides that cannot pass through the membrane. Hence, NEWater is free from viruses and bacteria and contains very low levels of salts and organic matter. At this stage, the water is already of potable quality. The fourth barrier, and third stage of the NEWater production process, acts as a safety precaution. UV disinfection is used to ensure that all organisms are inactivated and the purity of the product water guaranteed. With the addition of some alkaline chemicals to restore the pH balance, the NEWater is ready for use. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NEWater http://www.pub.gov.sg/LongTermWaterPlans/wfall_3rdtapa.html ↡ Advertisement
