WTF! Seems like the driver is anticipating the accident. So calm when he alight from the car.

Maybe saw the camera, quickly run for his life

Driver causes crash by swerving into STOMPer's lane and jamming on brakes

A Honda driver cut into STOMPer Sam's lane along Cross Street and then jammed on his brakes, causing the STOMPer to hit his car.

The incident happened at about 9am yesterday (March 12).

The driver then exited his vehicle, took photos of the accident and the STOMPer's car, and simply drove off.

Said the STOMPer:

"The clip that I have attached is the accident between me and the other party.

"The timing from the clip is not accurate. It should be on March 12, at 9am.

"I was driving along Cross Street when suddenly, a Honda Civil Type R dashed into my lane and jammed his brakes, causing me to jam my brakes as well.

"I didn't manage to stop in time so I banged into the car.

"The best part is he came out from his car, took photographs of the accident, and then drive off just like that, without saying a word.

"Just wanted to warn everyone to be aware if you see this car, as his driving is very dangerous and endangers other road users.

"I have since made a police report."

Good that the Stomper has a DVR. Can see that the lane was clear so he had no reason to suddenly cut in w/o signalling and jamming his brakes.

Even if something triggered the Honda driver to do that, does it mean he can do that?

The stomper shouldn't show the video and see what the Civic driver have to say to the insurance first.

this is clearly civic fault..

even if he had to jam brake due to distractions inside the car,(phone ring, flying cockroach), his actions after the accident proves something amiss

This type of accident is planned and with intent. Most propably a syndicate that create accident and that they in turn make an enormous claim from the victim insurance. Reporting to police doesn't solved the problem. It's best you bring it up to your MP of your ward and see justice is done and appropriate action is taken the Honda Type R driver and its Syndicate he is working for. Just submit to all the media there is and make the driver shame. It's very clear case that the driver is doing this for a reason. Dun let the BaBoon go scot free.

Self-owned.

Video showing everything and driver's face clearly. Should slap the driver some demerit points and fine for dangerous driving.

Seeing all these freaking stories, it really makes decide on installing In-car camera.

Please suggest me a good reliable brand and model.

Is there one which can also capture the entire surrounding of the car?

It will be good if there is. So that I can also catch those CCBs that like to swing their fcvking doors and dent my precious car.

Thanks for suggestion and inputs in advance.
