Mightymito 1st Gear March 8, 2013 Share March 8, 2013 I was wondering bout this too. Had to change at 25k for the front brakes. But my wheels tend to have lots of brake dust
Roh96 6th Gear March 8, 2013 Share March 8, 2013 A good disc can usually last 3 brake pads. However if the disc has warp before and send for skimming, then different story. U don't want to risk using a disc that is too thin and may break anytime.

Pisces69 6th Gear March 8, 2013 Share March 8, 2013 Have the disc warp before? Have you send it for skimming? That anither ws trick. Always ask u skim disc till thin then need to change. Sometimes jerky braking due to discs dirty. Just clean can already. Maybe got a bit of oil only.

Roh96 6th Gear March 8, 2013 Share March 8, 2013 OMG! where is the honest ws in SG? AD honest? I won't say all WS are dishonest. There are honest mechanics, some are not pushy and keep asking u change this change that. Ultimately it is your call whether to change or not, the risk is at your end.
