Ender Hypersonic March 6, 2013 Share March 6, 2013 I think you'll get better response from forums dedicated to home theatre like www.xtremeplace.com
Unitek 1st Gear March 6, 2013 Share March 6, 2013 You can consider YSP5100 or i think a newer model is out now. Unless you die die want a soundbar, sound quality cannot compare even to some basic 5.1 setup.
Twnll 1st Gear March 6, 2013 Share March 6, 2013 Soundbars are convenient to use and no need to run wires for rear speakers. However the sound is heavily processed and unable to play loud. So far all the soundbars I heard can barely 'wrap' the sound around you. Convenience is about the installation which is a one time thing, you need to live with its limitations after that. Cavili Neutral Newbie March 6, 2013 Author Share March 6, 2013 Yamaha YSP4300 is the latest and newest model. Due to space constraint soundbiar is very practical. No matter how good is he soundbar it canoot produce the virtual surround of 5.1 or 7.1 setup. Least I can get a better soundbar with effect of digital sound processor (DSP) which YAMAHA ia well known.
