Why is the car make important?

The conditions of the wreck, so take a closer look.

And that's not a really big tree.

Well ok, I ask because it's either Civic, CS3 or Vios which I doubt will make a difference.

Bigger tree may be better because more contact area = less pressure.

Should be because the car went straight for it sideways.

I am beginning to feel that our driving schools are failing to educate and instill the correct mindset of driving.

As for the wanbao writer, I think it's a PRC, nobody uses "Shuai Ge" in Singapore context.

Bring back the MT test only!!!!

yeah, the Class 3A course has created a whole lot of step-N-go drivers. My sis is one of them, once drove me to airport and corner quite fast ! MT learners would have learnt how to brake, then drop to 3rd when tackling sharp bends.

but in this case, it's drunk driving so doesn't matter

TP still dreaming and busy catching people with modified exhausts and tinted windows.

is about responsibility. if people want to drink and drive disregarding others and their own safety, how much can the law do? the only way is to include rotan in the sentencing. a few weeks jail time and a few k fine seems like nothing to many people.

I agree bring back MT only because understanding a car's mechanics start from basics, but disagree AT licensees are bad at driving. Maybe some black sheep but there are also many old farts that drive like they are alone on the road with MT license.

If can pass means got some standard already; Singapore TP even if auto where got so easy pass... (OT) I think they should make it harder for FTs to convert their licenses instead.

The name of the deceased was Shankar according to the post by bro KaKiLang.

I believe the chinese translation of his full name is 帅哥哈仁德然.

FYI the Chinese translation reads Hunk Harandran. :D

Shan-kar, the way you read it only requires 2 characters. That's 6.
