Iz_Exora Clutched March 5, 2013 Share March 5, 2013 Will share the address today eve or tomorrow as their Business card is at Home. I was specifically looking at Continental CPC 5 tyres with the Rims as I was using them for the last 3 yrs and it was quite as well as Comfort. So got a better offer from them for the RIMS + Tyres (CPC5 made in Europe not Germany) Appreciate you could share, I am also thinking of changing my stock 15" to 16".

If currently I using stock tyre 195/65/R15 instead of changing to 16" tyre can I use a wider width and a lower profile tyre say 205/60/R15?
Mandrew 1st Gear March 5, 2013 Share March 5, 2013 I'm also not good in Tyres.. :) Was asking the same question to the Tyre shop y'day. I was using 205/55/16 now changed to 225/45/17. The shop gave me a choice of using 215/45/17 or 225/45/17 for the same price and told me 225 will be better in Cornering... which I'm not sure..... (the guy there doesn't seems to have that much knowledge to give advices in this area....) Maybe some one who is more technical here can advice please.... Mandrew 1st Gear March 6, 2013 Share March 6, 2013 If you are travelling to Jalan Permas, just check the Tyre Workshop just behind the KFC in Jln Permas (with big Yokohama Boards). My friend went there to enquire for upgrading his 16inch tyres to 17 inch. They quoted him RM3100 for 17inch rims with CPC5-AD (Germany) tyres. And for trade in, they offered RM1000. So finally rounded off for RM2000. It looks to me like a very good deal as after trade in, it will come only around S$850 with the AD tyres (even if Continental Europe tyres also it is worth). But may also need to see the quality of the Rims and need to ensure that during fitting they are not using Continental Malaysian tyres.

SPARE PARTS LIST http://mforum.cari.com.my/home.php?mod=spa...pace&page=2 I compared a few Parts number from my Car and it tallies but not sure about the pricing (assume that it is in RM). E.g. Airbag ECU - which is PW865451 (spotted when I was doing Sound Proofing) Edited March 8, 2013 by Mandrew ↡ Advertisement
