I feel, that the new measures would also have an impact on how people take care of their cars and as well as driving pattern. Here are some reasons:

1. Since most cannot fathom paying 50% dp for next car, they will now take care of their cars more prudently

2. With point 1 above, there should be more safe driving, lest one gets into an accident and then no car

3. Many will leave their cars home, scared of any incident, thus roads might be a little less congested???

4. NO MORE OPCs

on the downside, i feel this is gonna happen:

1. Scratching and vandalising of cars from those green eyed

2. Bigger gap among the Jap and Contis, with the face factor, leading to more snobbishness

3. Carparks gonna be full as ppl not gonna drive out more?

Whatever the reason, drive safe all, as thie vehicle is gonna see and be with you for a long long time.....Have you hugged your car today? [laugh] [laugh]

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to advise all to chill.....the other threads are heating up and let's take a seat back and watch it from a bigger perspective.

Can feel everyone's frustrations, esp those who yearn for their own car...

In the brotherhood of MCF, let's move on, but look deeper into what this new initiative really means and how it may actually help us in the long run.

Peace out all!

I need some advise from seniors here,I'm stuck now, my company quite recently give me a b&b car n was planning to sell b4 CNY but dealers gave me lousy price cos of some dent on bumper and paint not nice, after CNY 出9 I send for touch up on bumper and dekit to original look, heard Coe drop by a few k, next shocking thing is Coe might drop further n yesterday dealer gave me a even worst price less another 5k. Now I'm afraid I'm not able to sell a car market valve to Coe, any bro can rec car dealers or know any dealers that pricing r good

Just wanna add my 2 cents on things to anticipate an increase:-

- More Road Rage

- Reckless and "knock me if you dare, I can afford it" attitude with car owners who can easily afford the 50% dp.

- More CYCLISTS!!
