When to change battery

My Battery just went flat today in my home carpark. promptly changed by one of our forummers.

Punctual. came on agreed time.

 

Plugged in a secondary battery so that I won't lose my audio settings.

 

One option if u just need a battery change service.

Last few startups were slightly delayed. But very slight. Something that slip my mind.

 

Lol 17 months.

This is a known problem with my car model. My 3rd change. Hopefully this amaron will last longer than bosch

I also just changed 2 weeks ago to Amaron. My symptoms were more serious! Slower cranking (normal), radio settings gone!, rear windows refuse to work!

 

For those with AA membership, pls change through them. I forgot about them. Cos usual warranty is 12 months. Battery from AAS has a 24 months warranty. My original battery from Toyota lasted 21months.

If you drive either cheap or expensive ang moh chia, use AA Hotcakes battery. Sorry for the spelling... always cannot get it right.

 

My last Hotcakes was 3 years before I changed it out before road trip. The AA tech was reluctant to change 'cos still in very good condition.

 

Current Hotcakes battery just crossed the 2 year mark.

is there any specific battery model to install for vehicles with start-stop functions?

Anyone here use a desulphurizer?

 

I used one and only change the batt every 2.5 years before scrapping the car.

 

With 10 year COE cycles I also always change tyres every 3.3 years.
