Battledome64 2nd Gear February 25, 2013 Share February 25, 2013 Hi all I was on a main road 4 lane and speed 60 to 70 km. Along this road there are various left turns to their respective condos. I was trailing behind this white Audi and he did not signal and jam brake at his speed of 70km then turned to his condo. Am I supposed to stop and anticipate cars turning left in front of me for every turn and every condo property? Good thing I was alert and also jam brake in time. But signalling is very impt especially you are High speed no one expect you to turn left Any feedback guys ↡ Advertisement

Nicholas 5th Gear February 25, 2013 Share February 25, 2013 Honk your displeasure lor. Some ppl drive without looking at their rear mirror. Anyway if you hit into him it's still your fault, so don't follow too close esp taxis.

Simplecar 4th Gear February 25, 2013 Share February 25, 2013 Thanks will drive even more defensively next time I was too shocked to horn so yea I just moved on As long as you can see a potential left turn, you've got to be more careful in case they suddenly turn or jam brake. Simplecar 4th Gear February 25, 2013 Share February 25, 2013 rich pple usually seldom signal as they think they r king of road.. I would say that people think it is NOT COOL to signal. Performance cars are quite guilty of that.

Some bugger taught his daughter who just passed, not to signal because if she did nobody will give way.

PengYou Clutched February 25, 2013 Share February 25, 2013 Some bugger taught his daughter who just passed, not to signal because if she did nobody will give way. To be frank, I have been driving in singapore road for years, many time, at least 75%, when I signal, car behind will accelerate to prevent me from entering... damn idiotic... Although I am also guilty sometimes when I see a slow moving car trying to cut into a faster lane. Having said these.. there are still courteous drivers out there whom will kindly slow down to let you thru... good for them and wish them well.. True, but some time ago, I also don't let vans or pickups in cause I am in a hurry... now I learn to relax. Singaporeans are always in a rush... but i think of it this way: Signal already, people hurry up so you can filter behind him. Most cars don't let u in cause he thinks you will slow him down as I mentioned earlier, so one way is to match his speed. ↡ Advertisement
