How to make suction sticks?

My car dvr suction keeps loosening. I had place double sided tape to reinforced.

Car has window tint. Still loosen. Any tips?

Please note that any stronger solutions would stick permanently and any attempt to remove it would spoil the tint. Are you prepared for that?

Put some water or saliva on the suction cup and it will stick.

Actually dun use double sided tape better. Just clean the surface thoroughly and add some water.

1- wait for a hot day with your car out in the sun.

2- clean both surfaces then dry them.

3- moisten the suction cup and attach.

4- wait till the car and windscreen cools then attach dvr.

After a while it will still drop leh, quite a long while lah, week plus.

I think you should get a bigger suction. Maybe your is too small.

Likely a broken suction.. the plastic part that u press to create the vacuum at be broken that's why its slowly loosens over time. Go SIM Lim or online buy.. in SLS maybe $10+-$20.. online is around US$3-8 inclusive of shipping but takes weeks to arrive

I use 3M tape

I even remove the battery to lower the weight lol.

Will try hot water for the sucker. Dry, wait for hot day, spray water

Put saliva on sucker. Stick on window. Pray hard.

the rubber sucker is bad just white glue it to some better sucker

Go buy 3M double-sided tape (red in color, but the inside is transparent.) The tape was also used to hold the ERP device in the car. It is strong, yet removable (i think).

soak in hot (boiling) water before use. that will loosen up the rubber

I also got tint. I just make sure both surfaces r clean then put a little water n stick.

 

My gps mount i stick wh gps attached can still stay stuck fr a few months b4 it drops off.

 

Make sure both surfaces r smooth to hv a good suction. Any nicks or tears n it wun stick well.
