Taxi driver might have inculcated this as a habit and he may be thinking that it is okay to do if not caught. When other motorist see this, 2 in 10 will certainly do the same one or the other time, it is all human behaviour. Once I was in a pedestrian crossway and a car took an illegal u-turn and almost knocked me. I simply don't understand why these people can drive another few hundred meters to do things as per the books, after all, they are not carrying few tons of weight on their shoulder to seek that they need short cuts.

Not being sarcastic, just want everyone to be mindful of the rules?

Not you, was trying to say that you were replying to sarcasm. [;)]

Report to TP. You almost crash his rear. Imagine crashing and he gonna claim you gao ago. Let him get some demerit points to wake up. Very inconsiderate of him. Never think of the safety of other road users.

straw man argument spotted..if u like to eat then go be a hawker? [laugh]

i like to eat. i dun like to cook. there is a difference

if its a dangerous act, go ahead and report.

if it doesn't bother anyone except the witness's moral values, he is free to do what he likes.

for me, there are better thing to do than to worry about such stuff

I understand where you are coming from..cos i like to eat and don't like to cook

thats exactly why people who likes to feedback about traffic infringement might not necessarily want/like to be a traffic cop..its 2 different matter

Neutral Newbie

Please send the video to TP, LTA and the taxi company.

Sorry but I hate taxi drivers. Sorry to any taxi drivers here. I have my reason.

I was cruising on Boundary Road towards AMK happily on the 3rd lane and approach the junction of Boundary Rd and Serangoon Central. When I was reaching the middle of the junction, a taxi just do a right turn infront of me. In order to avoid him, I had to swerve left. When I swerve left, I was charging at the traffic light post liao. I had to swerve right back. I was just skidding across the junction.

That SOB taxi driver didnt even say sorry. He just stop in the junction and block the rest of the cars behind me.

I think some of you guys might have seen the near accident. It was at 3pm and there alot of braking and skidding noise.

Thats why I say, dont give this taxi chance. Let him pay the price for not following traffic law.

Some ppl will say, oh, he is just making a living. And I will say, cut the crap. Everyone's time and life is equal. You want to rush to make more money is your house problem. Not mine. You don't come and endanger other ppl's live for your own sake.
