Hi, sorry to hijack this post but just see if the owner of a red Mazda parked in the open carpark in Hougang Ave 5 infront of block 328. I was walking back to my car when I saw a grey goods van moving out of the lot beside your car n in the process scrapped your front bumper n then move off. I didn't see the whole plate but I hope this helps. G?3339?.. If you need me to be witness can PM me as I was not the only witness, my wife, my mil n my son all saw the incident.

Regards,

Thanks..

I am wondering is it even possible to track down the van with only part of the VRN? Just in case the owner comes around, you know.

can. here's the query

select * from vehicle_registration where licplateno like '%3399%' and vehicletype='VAN'

what is left is for somebody to hack into LTA's main database to run that query

SQL query used by government departments? I'm amazed they have such systems. :D

HI forumer, a little advice needed regarding minor scratches by the long lorry.

My car also parked at the open HDB PARKING lot. The long lorry came for the unloading around 9pm at the estate where I lived.

This idot driver squeezed into a lot between my parking lot and a motorbike parking lot, causing the scratches, which my wife, my son, and my daughters saw it but not me.

They saw it and no initiative to stop or preventing it to happen, only informed me after the case.

To my surprises, the long lorry was not hit and run, but hit and parked at the other lot, and only left at around 6.25 am in the next morning.

This is some photo i managed to taken down for action, but not sure what action should be taken, so need the advice from all the expert, the forumers [laugh]post-72655-1364006499_thumb.jpgpost-72655-1364006508_thumb.jpgpost-72655-1364006516_thumb.jpg

Legally not much you can prove as you have not much evidence (your family's testimony may not be good enough). Or were there other witnesses not related to you?

I think the whole of my Block can be witness anytime if thEY ARE WILLING. becos, the driver is shifting house, the whole family act like shifting the whole kampong, shout like no body bussiness.
