Adilast Neutral Newbie February 16, 2013 Share February 16, 2013 Just saw this at SPC Sengkang. There are two types.... one for windscreen and the other for side mirrors. $18 & $19 each. I'm also curious to find out about the effectiveness of this product.

Bluemice 2nd Gear February 16, 2013 Author Share February 16, 2013 Is this easy to use and effective or not? Everytime it rains, I can't see the side mirror clearly... yes it works, have been using them for years. do use the 0kmh, and once applied DO NOT WASH or clean the coating away. its actually a thin even lay of hydrophobic coating, so if the full surface is intact, it will repel water droplets away. However, if strong splashes or jets or rubbing action, it will remove the coating from a particular spot, and a water droplet will stay there, and the patch will eventually grows. a typical can yields about 4 sprays, ie two times, though my friends can get up to six. each time can last for me about 3~ 4 months. note that the coating will reduce the reflectivity of the mirror. meaning, it appears as a slight haze, this is something one have to get used to, as if you look at a black object, it will appears as a bit cloudy or dark greyish. mice
