Canarywharfgooner 1st Gear February 13, 2013 Share February 13, 2013 (edited) C's performance. you want brembo 4 pot 6 pot 8 pot also have.. Wow, someone else also just mentioned C's to me for brakes. The workshop is so inconspicuously located at Kaki Bukit that I didn't quite imagine a following. Have you fixed anything there before? Shibadog Turbocharged February 13, 2013 Share February 13, 2013 Steel braided hose? Any workshop that does this? what car? the SBBH are usually model-specific. Good stuff for more feel. reason being, the stock rubber brake hoses tend to expand under pressure (i.e. when the brake pedal is depressed) thus hydraulic pressure to the calipers is not linear with ur foot pressure n brake pedal. Steel BBH does not expand with pressure. Shld cost approx $200+ for four corners. goodridge is one of the well-known brands.

Yeobh 4th Gear February 14, 2013 Share February 14, 2013 (edited) What's troubling you and why do you want to do brake upgrading. If the brake is spongy, get the brake system flush, replace the brake fluid and make sure yr mech is using a brake bleeder to do the job. For some european cars , the mech has to follow the recomended bleeding sequent procedure if not there is just no way to remove the last few bubbles from the system. Partagas 3rd Gear March 15, 2013 Share March 15, 2013 Bro..mazda 6. Anyone can do steel braided for this car? Just go to any good sportscar workshop. Many jap models share the same brake hose size and length. Make sure they bleed the brakes properly. The next best thing to a BBK upgrade is steel braided hoses! Pisces69 6th Gear March 15, 2013 Share March 15, 2013 Steel braided hose? Any workshop that does this? Hv u considered getting an experenced mech to change yr brake fluid. Maybe got air inside. Myxilplix Turbocharged March 19, 2013 Share March 19, 2013 (edited) Rotora now seems to have no official local distributor. Previously was autovox but they don't carry them anymore. Some online stores also seem to have pulled rotora off their sites citing issues, although i haven't had any problems with mine yet. Seems that their website also had dead links, not sure if the company even in business anymore. Getting pads is a pain but there's a guy on the 3gwrx forums who can still get, or i found that Elig makes pads for rotoras which perform alright for road use. I would recommend you look at other brands with more available pad selection, a few workshops i went too could not get me replacement pads.
