You booked ?

No lah. The car only be launched few months later, now have not even released the exact price. But wife been badly poisoned by Alphard/Velfire. Most likely will get that if seriously want to change ride. But personally I prefer this CX-9 more.

Personally I'd prefer this to any MPV...

BUT Alphard/Vellfire is a different animal though... If you need that kind of space, don't think the CX-9 OR the Sharan will work for you.

Agree very much.

This the 3rd row I forgot to post earlier. Quite comfortable with good thigh support as the height is sufficient

Yes, all 3 rows of seat are pretty comfortable and space with all seats up are very decent too. The built quality are on par with entry level conti make, definitely more upmarket than say the Mazda 6 and CX5.

Whether it can sell well will depend largely on the handling and performance, as well as the price tag. I maintain my stand that it should be priced within $180k, else potential buyer will have many choice elsewhere.

can seat? my friend went and said cannot go inside the car

Can. Went in to try the third row seating.

Good thigh support as mentioned, but knee room about 1.5 fist tighter than Sorento (when second room is all the way back for both).

Also tighter than XC90 and Q7 but more than BMW X5, Discovery Sport.

My SE informed me that this ride will be launched in Q2 or Q3, now only showcased. Indicative price from 180k to 200k. I was thinking might as well get Alphard/Velfire haha.

Hope the pricing would be about 180-190k range.

It's a nice car. Should be able to sell if priced correctly.

Sat in the front passenger seat of an alphard while being driven from airport to resort.

The rear seats are like 737 business class plane seat like in terms of space and comfort. Very good for the passengers. Can see why it is the preferred mafia transport or mobile hotel.

But I see the driver driving... Machiam drive lorry/bus kind of position,  the steering angle is from down up... Not my cup of tea. Definitely not for the keen driver family man.

Agree... Only the passengers enjoy in an Alphard. The driver experience is non existent.

Fortuner at ard 180K is a better option although the interior not as atas as CX9.

With all due respect, Fortuner not really in cx9 class and I won't pay $180k for that car. $180k for cx9 also makes me think twice but still some possibility, just my opinion only.

Agreed. CX9 is more refined, more spacious, more powerful AND more fuel efficient - a different class altogether.

Plus there's a $30k CEVs surplus for the Fortuner (such is why it's $180k), so not great value for money.

Yeah... Not many 3 row SUV to compare in the 1st place. Just that CX9, Fortuner & the conti XC90  & Q7 are some cars with more legroom in the 3rd row. The rest like Santa Fe, Sorento, Outlander & Xtrail all have 3rd rows with very negligible legroom.

Looks like you cannot have the best of both SUV & People mover in one vehicle.
