Best place for servicing for KIA

Hi fellow KIA Peeps,

May I know where do you send your car for servicing?

Do you send it to Cycle and Carriage KIA Motors, or any recommended workshops that work purely on KIA cars, and have good recommendations?

(as I realised some workshops are brand specific - they don't do certain cars as either the people have no knowledge, or it simply doesn't apply)

Thanks in advance! Need to do some servicing soon, hence gathering some opinions and getting valuable feedback

What KIA are you driving? If not the latest model, most workshops should be able to handle.

Driving a KIA Cerato EX 1.6M

I remembered asking from one workshop Super Modern in Ubi.

My verdict: SUCKS!!! :ph34r::excl:

I drive a Kia and have been sending my car to Harmony Motor for many years.

Service is great and price is always reasonable. Most importantly, I found them to be very trustworthy.

If I'm not wrong, Super Modern didn't start off with servicing. They started off with bodykits and accessories.

Get a workshop that originated from servicing.

According to what I know, they are famous among the Korean car community for quickflash.. the boss Joey was trained in Korea for this.

Anyone can be self-proclaim specialist. Like that AD is specialist among all the "specialists". :D

I cannot service anywhere else cos under warranty but info is helpful.

Can I ask ... quickflash ECU retuning even for normal KIA's ... will it help with FC and performance?

I did quick flash for my picanto, seems to improve response throttle a lot. Fc didn't notice much diff.

Didn't service at hm as its pricing are slightly higher than average workshop, but sure can trust the boss.

If nothing breaks down after 1 year, I think you can safely service outside. Anything more than 1 year old, they reserve to right to blame it on wear and tear and not manufacturing fault.

For the money you saved doing servicing outside, you can well afford to replace most big ticket items when they break down years later.
