Hmm..ur car's sound proofing is already quite good.

Previous Tyre was DZ101, very noisy after 20k. Cannot take it so change to EfficientGrip.

I am very sensitive to Tyre noise.

Hi bro, I am thinking of changing to Nexen Nblue HD. So you will recommend this tyre to people? It's much cheaper than the Japanese brands.

Yup will recommend it as long as you're looking for a GR80/90, Federal FD2, Hankook K415, etc type tyre.

Haha yes. Lovely engine but crappy other things.

I have moved on after spending 2 years with the iL6. I enjoyed it honestly, great engine and comfy suspension. I still feel a bit of aching whenever I see one (the 2.5L, that is) on the road.

Finally changed last weekend to Yoko Advan db. Was intending to just use back GR90 but the price cannot take it.

The yokos are very quiet. More so than the GR90. Maybe still new. Sidewall not to soft too.

Wet grip not tested yet but has been assured its way better than the old aspec db.

Added orange tpm too

I did not keep track but its 2.7 years old. I estimate 30k.

1 pair of it outer treads almost gone while centre threads are still very good.

Thought it was insufficient inflation pressure (even though I closely follow manual which says 220 lb/in) but worksop technician say its due to the design and says he stops selling GR90 and many other brands because of design quality or mfg quality (he only have Michelin and Yoko). Suggest I change to Michelin.

If outer or inner threads worn faster then its time u did a computerised 4 wheel alignment.

Yr camber out already. Needs proper adjustment back to factory specs unless u request fr different specs last time u did yr alignment.

I have use Conti, Falken and currently on BS GR90.

Compare to this 3, I prefer BS GR90.

I feel it is quiet and smooth. It is also quite "stick to ground" feeling when raining.

When choosing tyre, I was told by the saleman that BS GR90 is also able to achieve better mileage... I was thinking it is marketing gimmick, but just give it a try. So far, already 2 months plus, it is really able to get approx. 120km more distance travelled per full tank.

Bought from AutoBacs...

Ya, very difficult to believe also... After changing this tyre, I don need to ram hard and also drive with light footed. Also most probably my previous tyre almost botak...

After changing to new tyre, now my full tank, 55 L, can acheived approx. 670km+/-, vs previous approx. 550km+.

Maybe the tyre still new... still monitoring.

did u check your tyre pressure, it affect fc alot, if your old tyre u alway maintain the same pressure with the current tyre, and it have better fc, then its accurate.

I just changed from GR90 to CSC5 (205/55/16).

Had it for less than 1 week.

Quite quiet but thought new GR90 is quieter.

Good for cruising and rolling along.

Thought the grip is smoother as I need to brake a longer distance.

Maybe I am a bit gentler with thsi new tire.

Cheaper than GR90.

bro, how about wet traction? GR90 better or CSC5? is the GR90 as quiet through out or it turn nosier after some use?

You think he will suggest you to change to something that he doesn't carry? Sometimes cannot fully trust them...

agree. i think is more of inappropriate tyre pressure rather than quality.
