WTF 4th Gear January 31, 2013 Share January 31, 2013 I am looking for a cake shop that opens on the 1st day of CNY for birthday. Due to space constraint in the fridge, cannot collect the cake in advance for a day. Anywhere the shop opens!!! Maybe you can try calling Angie's The Choice or Emicakes etc which provide delivery service as well.......smaller cake shops don't think it'll be opened on that day........ Givechance 1st Gear January 31, 2013 Share January 31, 2013 Next best thing is to put cake at relatives or neighbours fridge. Or surely you can temporarily take out some items from fridge, especially the fruits and leafy vegetables. Can temporarily put the fruits/veggie in a styrofoam or cooler box. Can be done one....just need very good space arrangement skills.

Givechance 1st Gear January 31, 2013 Share January 31, 2013 (edited) Yes I agree the fridge will be packed to the brim for CNY, mine already fully loaded now. But I believe the fruits and veggie section can be taken out, since fruits and veggie will not spoil in a day or two. Also those unnecessary bottles of drinks, nutella, peanut butter, sauces, chocolates, medicines, etc surely can be taken out for a day or two, and kept in a 'fishing' styrofoam box. I mean I would do it if I die die need to put a cake inside my fridge. Assuming collect the cake on 9th feb, one day earlier. If its icecream cake, that need the freezer compartment, perhaps that may be the real issue TS is facing. No space in the freezer compartment?
