Hi guys, need a bit of advice. I am considering buying a 2022 conti with AD warranty, one of the models under consideration is an Audi A6. I see a recently listed A6 by the infamous Hui Hua Credit, however when I check the “sold” models, I see what I think is the same car, already sold by a direct owner, and another dealer.  Might be a coincidence, but same reg date, colour and rims makes me go hmmm. Is this possible?

Hui Hua’s

Paiseh.

Is your question to determine if it's the same car?

I am curious why it's important?

As long as condition of the car you looking for is good, better if its really good and everything about the ride, ie number of owner pans out, then just buy it regardless how it made its journey to the car dealer.

Do go for test drive and practise diligence to ensure it is a well maintained/accident free, fees are upfront etc.

Yada-ing.

All the best in securing your dream ride.

Stay safe

Cheers

@PSP415 Hi, yes I'm trying to see if it's the same car and wondering how it can be sold 3 times, or is it a warning sign. Sorry for the noob comments, but was just wondering.

You are absolutely right in your advice, do my due diligence, and don't be a carrot head. Thanks for the reply! Have a good weekend!

If it is under warranty, for a 200k car, it is only fair that the dealer allow you to send the car to AD for an assessmemt, maybe you want to request for it, no loss asking.

If it is the same car,  then it should  not be a 1 owner car , ask the dealer to log in to one motoring and show you the record.

One more point, you may want to check if audi premium pre-owned has the car you want, you might  be better off buying from them for such a new car

Owner consigned to dealer...dealer found another dealer willing to buy or trade...tada...still 1 owner...original first sale post could still also be yet another dealer in disguise tho 😁

@Eightninety Owner advertised himself, consignment agent contacted him to take over the sale and Hui Hua could have bought from consignment agent. Somewhat same thing happened to me when i advertised my car directly and it has to be marked sold when i decided for consignment agent to take over the sale on my behalf.

@Nav14 Ah, that makes sense. I was wondering how the same car could have had 2 previous listings and marked “sold”.  Also because the listing was by one of the blacklisted dealers here, so got me a bit concerned.  Was also looking at another same year by Carchope, but could not find any reviews here.

Looking at 2nd hand bmw, while I understand that going back to PM pre-owned to purchase is safer but they might not have the model I'm looking for.

Is it possible to send the car to PM to check the car before buying (assuming the car dealer is ok)? Do they provide such service?

@SharonK hi Sharon, it seems like this has been going on and I’m another victim that faced the same situation as you. Have you received the payment from him already? Every week he will give new excuses to not send the second payment. Already lodged police report, urge anyone who faces the same situation to lodge police report and not believe his nonsense.

Not sure if they do, but if you send it back for a routing servicing and ask them for a check at the same time?

Call their service line and ask, no loss .

The other point is if a car has been serviced by perf motor with proof, maybe you can skip that process ?

Hi, need your opinion. Have been eying this honda city being sold by Wheels & Cars pte ltd located at Carros. Anyone dealt with this car dealer before and is the price reasonable for a honda city with 3 previous owners? your response is much appreciated. Below is the url link.
