Used Car Dealers Feedback (Part 2)!

Might be an honest mistake. But again, reason is not valid. If you have settled the wrong car loan, meaning you would have transferred the wrong car too. But in this case, its just part 1 not part 2 of the story from the dealer.

So did the buyer receive sms prompt of the transfer? Even dealer transfer, buyer did not confirm the transfer, the transaction wont fall thru.

I smell scam... Free money and free investment in new car. Haven calculate the difference in value too. Sound a new tactics.. He going be in big shit like me soon

Hey guys, just for info, I bought a car from CARFORCE PL (registered in 2019) 3 weeks ago. Ownership of the new car was transferred to me 7 days after handover but ownership of the old car has not been transferred to the dealer.

Dealer mentioned need to floor to finance company this and that. (I'm currently servicing both car loans as a result)

The new car is good so far. But the company's admin team is really one kind. I think they want to get a confirmed buyer before transferring so they don't have to service the car loan.

Would recommend bros and sis here to buy from reputable companies out there as stated above to avoid all these unpleasantries.

P.s. I've made LTA complaint and police report too

I had pm and warned you at your earlier post. Why find trouble ?

Guys beware of Motor-East Pte Ltd located at west coast car mart.

I cannot believed they belongs to Case Trust company.

Brought a car 1 month ago from them. Promised to repair the turbo which was reflected during STA evaluation. Told me to send to their workshop but the mechanic swear by god that it is normal. I went to seek 2 other workshops and both claimed that it is better to get the turbo change.

3 weeks later, water pump leaking and i tried to call the dealer. In end avoid my calls and messages. Before handing over car, say any problem just come back etc etc. After taking over car, no sound no picture. I already lodged a complain with CASE thou i know case is a paper tiger. Good luck to me.

Many years ago when I was a swagu buying car, ended once buying a lemon and after spending thousands, still can't be salvaged and scrapped it in the end.
And what was the advise by CASE?

"You actually believed in salesman talk? "

Till date that meow meow still rings in my ears.

Hi guys,

I would like to warn you guys about this second hand car dealer.

D & L Auto Trading Ent.

1) To cut story short, they charged a $500 stamp duty without letting us know in advance. Right after we hand them over the deposit.

2) the insurance he quoted us, he charges a 10% commission on top of the NTUC income insurance. They are suppose to take the commission from the insurance not quote above the insurance.

Sales Person / Boss name is Darren

Bad attitude and hang up on call when we try to talk to him. (On the very same day after he sold us the car, immediately changed of attitude)

Please do not frequent this car dealer, need more information, feel free to PM ME. Will be willing to provide proof.

Not sure if u are still on this page can u share with me more

I encounter a saleperson who refuse to budge on the admin fee. The minimum he will go is $300. I guess he was very sure that the car is selling at a good price and definitely will have someone buying it very fast.

Either get him to drop the sales price by $300 or walk away.

Admin fee is outright nonsense. I'm onto 3 second hand cars and I've never paid it.

For the second car, it was at the stage of doing up the paper work when the SE brought up the "admin fee" nonsense. I stood up and told him either he waives it or I'm walking out right now.

They will cave.

Yes, i bargain a lot till he drop the price of the car by another $300. So in a way i never pay the admin fee so still not so bad. The only time i really pay the admin fee was the first time i got a 2nd hand car and before i came to know about this forum.. haha

Hi, I want to share my worst nightmare dealing with a 2nd hand car dealer - KEN GARAGE PTE. LTD. I bought an Estima Hybrid from them last year around April of $90k inclusive of a 10 years COE renewal with the ownership. To cut story short, the ownership of the car was never transferred to me and the COE extension was never done as well. I have been chasing the owner of the company, Ken, for umpteen times and he always say, don't worry I will transfer to you soon. Until in early 2019,I realised that his company has closed down and owes credit company (SRS) a huge sum of money. Thereafter, I decided to report the matter to SPF and LTA, but to no avail from both authorities. Now, he has some relationship with Carforce in AML (#03-14) and this company is helping him resolve the issue. Many of the buyers of KEN GARAGE happened to be in the same shit. The last lawyer letter representing Ken wishes that the owners of the car involved get a loan using their name and the monthly mortgage be paid by Ken. I did not agree as I will be in trouble if Ken defaults payment in future. I seek all those affected to come together to seek redress together. Now, I am facing a total loss of 90k with the repossession of my car, which I have already paid in full. Kudos to our authorities who never bothers to take care of their citizens.

Sorry that u have to face with this.. but u cannot really blame them for not taking action if there is no sufficient proof or report on the matter. Why did u even ask dealer to help with coe extension when u can save e trouble n do it urself?

Now is get those affected to lodge a report together and see ur next course of action. At least u r still dealing with the lawyer.

Turf City and the West Coast Car Mart are all crooks.

Avoid any and all there.
