This cross land shares the same engine as all PSA 1.2s (like the 3008 above) , even if there is mechanical trouble, parts shouldn't be difficult to find.

Moreover when I still had the C4 Cactus all the filters (cabin air filter, engine air filter and etc) are available at the stockist on the day itself.

Best if you could visit a French specialist and get it checked before buying.

But then, why don't check this out?

Mileage is high but it's still decent:

For me my ride would need to be something that I would turn and look back after I locked it.

The avante will made me turn my head, with a deep sigh.

For the same annual dep, this 2021 Skoda Octavia will be a better buy. Longer runway till scrap. 7 more years to go.

Can give this a try especially most of their cars are 1 owner type, can see that they will take in cars with decent background.

I went there before though didnt buy from them eventually,  quite professional, no hard sell tactic.

What's wrong with the Hyundai Elantra / Avante? It's an old school car with mainly trustworthy analog features and a decade old engine shared with the Kia Forte / Cerato / K3.

Nothing wrong. Just that 9 out of them in front of me always require me to undertake which annoyed me.

Hence my biased view on it. Selphy included.

No hard feeling there for my candid comment.

The Hyundai Elantra in your link is an accident car. Seems quite a major accident. Rear bumper, boot, rear door behind driver's door & the rear quarter panel on driver side are resprayed with a lighter colour tone.

Hi expert can help to advise on the following

buying 1.8yr car > scrap > buy another car
is this more cost effective than

Buy 3+/ 4yr car > scrap and buy when coe is low

assume both depre is the same amount

hi guys, have a few question on the intention to send a second hand car to my own preferred workshop for pre purchase inspection

1) does the salesman usually drive the car himself to the workshop?
2) do they usually frown upon such requests?

It is better  for the sales person to drive there, otherwise if you drive it and anything happen along the way, you have  probably heard of "once broken consider sold"🤑

if the sales person refuses,  you can move on to view another car elsewhere. hope your workshop is not too far from the dealer like  Jurong

What car do you want?

If low parf why don't consider buying the early 2016 car and renewing it?

I think so, because if one is not prepared to commit, then there is no reason for them to send the car for inspection.

The problem is after an inspection, what is consider to be acceptable to the buyer, if both get into dispute about the accepting conditions, then that is when obe's deposit might be at stake.

Never heard of anyone getting their deposit back after inspection. Regardless.
money in their hands, they can say or do whatever.

Mayfair not bad but I can't comment on Avantes, not too familiar w pricing nowadays.

For the Audi, do you want to check out some A4s and 3 series that fall in between 14-16k depre?

@metalstream might have something to chime in^

@Brass actually I am looking for SUV but for our budget not much option and don’t feel like getting Vezel.

For the avante we find that the look and space look not bad..

If Jap/Kor is a factor you can't go wrong w Forester XT if you're ok w a 2016-17 car. Depre is not to bad ard 14.5 to 16k

Problem being, many could be modded and fuel consumption is a probably an issue if you do city driving only.
