Bros,

I recently got a Note 2 less than a month ago.. Great camera , HD quality video camera , nice design , fantastic functions..

However , there are various problems that I have in this phone that I didn't have in my previous iPhone:

1. Always , when I using some apps , my phone suddenly hangs for no apparent reason.. Can't even exit also.. Then I have to really restart the damn thing..

2. Gets heated up for no apparent reason..

3. Battery tio suck quite fast.. When I checked my battery usage , it was due to my screen.. 40% of my battery life goes to my screen..

Anyone else facing this problem? Or should I go back to M1 to f%$# them.. ?

Neutral Newbie

Check your dropbox settings....it may be set to upload every time your within Wifi range, this kills the battery, also hold your home button down and clear the tasks/RAM now and again.

Is the screen brightness to the max? Put auto. Too bright heat up the phone and eat battery.

Did u have super task killer? Should have to help u exit all things not in use.

Download juice defender. Help u save battery.

I from S2 to S3.

My wife from iPhone 4 to note 2.

We are all happy samsung user.

You try turn on power saving mode. For me, normal usage, will still have around 40% by end of business day.

My android used to drink up battery pretty fast, until i changed the appearance to minimum.

From drained within a day to last for 2-3 days. All are off by default except phone network.

Sometimes due to where that ON button is located, it also may get turn on unknowingly.

Try installing an app called BetterBatteryStats. After a while it will provide a list of applications responsible for Partial Wakelocks that keep your phone alive despite the screen being off, and overconsuming the battery. Typical are apps like Twitter, Facebook, Email, etc that sync repeatedly. You can finetune the sync settings, e.g. every 5 mins to every hour.
