Kangadrool Supersonic January 14, 2013 Share January 14, 2013 (edited) It's hanged on top of engine. Imagine the petrol gets heated up there when you get stucked in jams. Worse, leakage and accidents will cause fire one. The more things you install, the more connecting points, more probability of problems/issues especially for aftermarket products. Dissidence Clutched January 14, 2013 Share January 14, 2013 The effects are more pronounced on carburetored cars. That's why it used to be so popular. Not so polular nowadays. I think nowadays, the difference would only be pronounced if you were running a fleet of vehicles with broquet. Just like thicker gauge ignition cables. Have gone the way of the dinasaur. 0330 Clutched January 22, 2013 Share January 22, 2013 Agent won't fit these products to your car. Agreed. Mostly free throw-in only from direct owner selling. Or if it works for them they might just take it out first before selling. Like my friend since it claims he can feel the difference with it

I think nowadays, the difference would only be pronounced if you were running a fleet of vehicles with broquet. Just like thicker gauge ignition cables. Have gone the way of the dinasaur. Thicker ignition cables still around. Not needed for daily driving but more for racing. Its not about performance improvement. Its about shielding from engine heat. Cause the multi layer silicone insulation is very good. I am using magnecor one. My previous ignition cable gone case as the rubber insulation hardden and crack. Wah bro! Magnecor... damn old skool one. I miss distributors and carburators... no need to spend so much can see a lot of difference. Nowaday since the engines are managed by ECU, need to spend hell of a lot to get any meaningful improvement. ↡ Advertisement
