Cheap cheap land, low manpower cost.. but still can tap on the strength of Singapore's SGD.. plus JB is physically closer to Changi airport than KLIA, visitors will rather fly into Changi.. I'd say it's a win-win situation for everyone.. Not that our tiny island got land for another theme park..

Hoppie24 1st Gear January 9, 2013 Share January 9, 2013 Land is expensive in singapore mah. yeah, the land price there is probably at least 3x cheaper than SG. Maybe Malaysia even give them free just to attract them, they have plenty of ulu place, just need road to reach there can liao, Theme Park no need to be located at Central location anyway
Karoon Turbocharged January 9, 2013 Share January 9, 2013 I prefer to go theme park in those countries with 4 seasons.Prefer to go during spring or autum. SE Asia climate is too hot.Imagine the Q with the weather genting hit the jackpot (no pun intended) on cameron highlands. one idea here is to build a vertical resort. say a very tall commercial building, but floors 80 to 100 dedicated to rides and resort. all kinds of rides on the facade of the building, with the world's tallest roller coaster on the rooftop. but not entirely the most original idea. Stratosphere tower did it first
