Blackyv Turbocharged January 8, 2013 Share January 8, 2013 Just curious, wonder how wax can mix with water? Isn't it suppose to resist each other?..
Steptronic Supercharged January 8, 2013 Share January 8, 2013 Was told by a car wash detailed that this is a good way to maintain gloss. Anyone agree lol. Just keep the wax bottle on top of the car, rain would do the rest for you!

Mcf777 Turbocharged February 2, 2013 Share February 2, 2013 With wax on the cloth, it seems easily to dry the car after washing
Pureness Clutched February 2, 2013 Share February 2, 2013 i'd rather mix wax with the car shampoo than to mix with water
Briansoh 1st Gear February 2, 2013 Share February 2, 2013 Isnt that the same thing? You are just going to dump the car shampoo with wax into the water to wash car what... Never hear of such practice before. Maybe can try and feedback to us?
0330 Clutched February 2, 2013 Share February 2, 2013 LIQUID-based wax is perfectly fine to mix with water. Just that the shine may not last as long due to the dilution.
Meganut 2nd Gear February 2, 2013 Share February 2, 2013 I believe this is something that is similar to a product called Demon Shine, $24.90 from axxxbxxx it works, demon shine i mean... I tried using a cheap bottle of wax for the same effect when i was at Giaxx... couldnt find demon wax so anyhow whack one of those wax on promo less than $12, liquid wax (must be liquid).. it does have the same effect but Demon Shine is better.. 5936 1st Gear February 3, 2013 Share February 3, 2013 i have been doing this for many years.true that traditional wax and water resist.but some synthetic polymer blends of liquid wax that is water soluble.I started with pouring 2-3 caps into small bucket for final wipe after carwash., but there are still .so i prep them in a sprayer bottle. spray and wipe off. but avoid getting onto windscreen. Darkblue 1st Gear February 3, 2013 Share February 3, 2013 Easy to buy Wash & Wax, they have proper chemistry wash & wax at the same time. Although the main benefit is that those with wash & wax, the car dries faster. Proper wax routine is still required for protection.
Meganut 2nd Gear February 4, 2013 Share February 4, 2013 (edited) yes.. even on Demon Shine bottle states that avoid pouring on windows to avoid streaking.. and in time will get juddery wipers... so yes must be careful when pouring on windscreen Edited February 4, 2013 by Meganut

Thomastham55 Neutral Newbie February 24, 2013 Share February 24, 2013 Can try the wash and wax. I use it to maintain my car before investing on a paint protection. Usually i use 1 cap and mix with a bit of water and get my maid to wipe it. If my car is very dirty, i wil it as a shampoo and hose off. 1 small bottle does a real long way. http://sgpaintprotection.weebly.com/consumer-products.html
Partagas 3rd Gear March 14, 2013 Share March 14, 2013 I hv used a few car shampoos with wax ingredients before. Zymol, Armorall, i will highly recommend. There is a technique involved when using such car shampoos. Let me share. 1. Use a scoop to splash the water mixed with shampoo. 2. Rub with bare hands instead of scrubbing with sponge 3. Allow it to sit for a while before using a scoop to splash clean water instead of a jethose 4. Dry with chamois cloth. Car will feel smooth and look brighter shinier than a normal standard wash. Takes only about 45mins for my Civic ↡ Advertisement
