but more like hinting to some formmers that after this latest national embarrassment to India, there is no need to compare with China by citing certain crime statistics since the numbers are not always reflective of the true situation in the streets.

 

That is why I share this Indian female personal recollection on her return to India after working in the capital of PRC for a few years as a correspondence for India's paper Hindustan Times.

 

It is interesting to note even with her nationalistic comparison between Indian and China, she still ended her article using Mao Zedong famous quote on women's contributions.
