Nothing to worry. Especially since battery is not old and you hv been regularly running it. No problem, dont fret.

13177 Hypersonic December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 By asking someone to start your engine and off it without moving the car even no good for your car. You should rather leave the car there, no problem at all even 1 month.

987 1st Gear December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 erm... i went sydney for 5 days. my batt died when i was about to drive off.. :P that should not happen. 5 days would not have any adverse effect on the battery. maybe you left some electronics on. either that, your car batt was at the point to konking out... WTF 4th Gear December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 hmm maybe... but ever since then when i go overseas will ask someone to help me start my car n let it run a bit. :P to be safe I used to do that when I just bought my car. Then once my friend also not around so I left the car untouched for abt 5 wks. Come back still able to start engine. Nowadays, I just leave it untouched when I'm out-stationed......... 13177 Hypersonic December 27, 2012 Share December 27, 2012 erm... i went sydney for 5 days. my batt died when i was about to drive off.. :P Most probably your battery already 'up lorry' soon, or you forgot to switch off some electronic stuff in your car. Many times even you parked your car up to 1 month without touching it also no problem.

Yeobh 4th Gear January 3, 2013 Share January 3, 2013 There is a parasite draining yr battery even the key is off, normally it's more than 30miliamp. I your dealer has the right diagnostic tools, overtime he should be able to pin down the source. There are few ways to detect parasite drain, one way is to use low amp clamp-on tong on the battery cables to measure the leak. If there is, the next step is to do a isolation test via a fuse amp reader. The process is to plug out the fuse and plug in the fuse amp reader, if there is reading, then the next step is to trace the wire to the accessories.
