Fuelsaver Supercharged August 11, 2016 Share August 11, 2016 (edited) The price to pay in going green is significantly high imho n I suppose it's due to some of these reasons - - more r&d went into hybrid development n support causing higher selling price - replacement parts hybrid components oso cost fair bit n oso in addition to normal fuel powered veh - govt unable to tax as much for petrol despite higher arf of hybrid veh - servicing may include checking / conditioning of hybrid comp Unless mileage is at least half of taxi driver, very difficult to justify cost of getting one just to save petrol. Not forgetting potential replacement of hybrid battery pack at least once in 10yrs. Those with only 5yrs batt warranty likely to dispose of such cars at end of warranty period. N perhaps oso y older hybrid car depre much lower than non hybrid one. Edited August 11, 2016 by Fuelsaver ↡ Advertisement

flashbang Turbocharged February 20, 2018 Share February 20, 2018 One big problem with hybrid cars is they drive too slowly, becoming a hazard on the road. Why they drive so slow? They are trying to save petrol.... especially when they already paid their petrol cost upfront in the car price...
