we actually need to be clear if its TRE or TR. these are two different websites. the latter is a copy cat and post loads of rubbish. the former while critical of the ruling party, would back up their articles with more facts and rationality. many people are confused between the two.

I mean tremeritus.com. I never knew TR still exist as I thought TRE were formerly from TR. Anyway, it's true they publish articles which are from other source. Anyway, some of the articles there are from dubious sources too.... Anyway, what that peeves me is that all posting that is supportive or even neutral will be deleted. I have personally encountered that. This gives people the false impression that there is an overwhelming united voice of anti-establishment. This is an insult of intelligence to the locals....

Well, the problem is with you going around telling people as if you are one of the mods. Simple aren't it?

Can't fault you for reminding fellow surfers the rules [:)]. Next time you see me throw rubbish on the street, do remind me... Better than kena fine from env warden :D

Still possible but easier to just use flea powder from the vet next time.

 

Been there...I was banned (no existing yellow card) a few months ago by the same mod but re-instated the very next day because I broke no rules.

 

On the other hand, my work place and even salary was implied in a public post which itself a violation of the forum rules.

Forum niah..... [:)]

Do appreciate the situation though

I personally have a friend who was very pro-pap in the past.. and i bumped into him when I was volunteering for WP during GE2011 and HG BE. He was volunteering for WP as well. [:p]

My own mother die hard supporter of ren min Xin dong dung for as long as I could remember, but lately she started grumbling about their failures. [:(]

i grew up in potong pasir and has voted for the past 3 elections , i have in fact votes for the opposition all 3 times. Though the last one lost to pap but i am pretty sure pap knows that they need things to be done here. It is the same everywhere , when money and "upgrading" and other short term incentives dangling , alot of people talk and attend the opposition but they do not put their support when it is needed.

 

That is what is leading to the arrogance the present group of leaders are showing us. Incompetence is the word , they always forget they are getting their fat paychecks to "SERVE IT's PEOPLE" and not serve themselves first , getting the ones good to study only good for maintaining what they learn from text books and not in real life where people need to innovate and "improvise" . Just look at the past year , how many things happen? So how much stuff can be improved? Are they doing it? Or are they so much red tape which is created by themselves to slow everything down?

 

By the way , i do not hate PAP they have done alot of good but they need constant reminder not to stray from what good they have done.

Iam sometimes confused myself. I'm not sure if tremeritus.com is the same as Temasek Review and The Temasek Review. What I do know is that actually TR and TTR are two different websites. TTR is not only anti-pap but also anti-wp and it always post lots of childish comments even to taunt neitzens for certain comments they posted. TTR is not a spin off from TR as I found out recently. The people behind both are different.

Never liked him never hate him , anyway nothing much changed though not much improvements and am still waiting for them to fulfill their promises. The old folk here is quite alot , so still hoping he will do much more amenities suited for them and more events to "hype" up the community

it doesn't matter.. come 2016, Im sure there will not be a Potong Pasir SMC anymore... unless Sitoh also get into an affair and resign lor [:p]
