im very curious that every month cat a+b+e total quota is about 1000 coe. but according to lta statistic there is 2000+ new car registered every month? why? why is that so?

I think 100k is a milestone, symbolic number, like US$100 per gallan for oil. Once the mental 'barrier' of 100k is surpassed, the cost of COE will shoot up even faster.

 

That's my theory anyway.

From Jan to Dec and only within a year COE increased anout $30K plus!
