Myxilplix Turbocharged December 17, 2012 Share December 17, 2012 How did you tune for the straight thru and sti turbo in the first place? or did you mean yours is an sti? ↡ Advertisement
Caravan 5th Gear December 17, 2012 Share December 17, 2012 can still tune back right? if not, what other legal mods needed to push it back to the old figures If exhaust is the limitation, then whatever else you do will be of limited benefit. You need to find out what is limiting your performance. Exhaust is very important to turbo, and if you stay legal, there's not much you can do. The stock exhaust is extremely restrictive. Boo_saa Neutral Newbie December 17, 2012 Share December 17, 2012 Bro. With your so call sti turbo , hopefully u have other supporting hardware. Like bigger or at lease a sti tmic ,Fuel pump ,and injector. The rest up pipe dp and extractor can be stock but de-meow it and get a Fuji. A good open source tunner should make u happy. Myxilplix Turbocharged December 17, 2012 Share December 17, 2012 With all the parts already in the car, i would expect it to already have some sort of tuning done to it. So it would just be a matter of getting the tuner to make the necessary adjustments to accomodate the exhaust change. Unless you have been running with a stock tune all this while

I-love-singapore December 18, 2012 Share December 18, 2012 what about dummy catalytic converter? like the cover still there but inside straight through catless can pass. all stock cover cannot remove. even with the bad smell, emission test pass also
Kman08 3rd Gear December 18, 2012 Share December 18, 2012 catless can pass. all stock cover cannot remove. even with the bad smell, emission test pass also Agreed. Another point to note is that u can tune your catless exhaust to meet inspection requirement if I am not mistaken. But not sure if it maximizes the bhp potential. Ahmi Neutral Newbie December 18, 2012 Share December 18, 2012 Microtech can look for GTR technologies - Donald 9088 0686 They are at Batok crescent, Unity Centre. They do alot of GC8 models. There is currently a 2 door one in at his place, but dunno if it is running on Microtech or not
