Lost my car key yesterday at Jln Kayu prata place

Just hope remotest chance my Alfa car key was picked up yesterday morning at Jln Kayu popular Thesavi prata shop and the person come to this forum to check.

 

Was having breakfast at about 8 plus. Parked car right in front of shop so short distance to the table only. Somehow I must have dropped it. Couldn't find my key when I was getting up to leave. Checked wth shop owner n cleaners and searched around table on the floor and retrace my steps. No such luck.

 

Would finder please call or SMS me at 9615 double seven 56? Thanks.

I think nowadays they just tell you to make police report online, and not bother reporting face-to-face... cos nothing much will be done anyway.

Lost car key high chance cannot be recover, so even report police also no use. Same like losing house keys.

Suggest going back to the same location, look around, ask around. Hopefully some kind soul left some contact info.

Same here. I lost my car key for previous ride at the gym. It is dropped somewhere very likely in the changing room. But even after reporting to lost and found, no one returned the key. It can't have vanished out of sight completely but no one bother to return key to counter or the person picking up probably throw it into dustbin.

Say if you found a car key and also found the car, would you take the car for a joy ride? I wouldn't. So it is ok to find help here for any kind soul to trace and get back to the owner. TS, hope you find back your key.

I am amazed when people pick up car key, how come they "keep" the key or throw away the key? They want the car key for what? I think car key is something that you cannot use for your personal usage lo.
