Apple iPAD mini & Nexus 7

I'm wondering if the above mentioned tablets are selling cheaper in hong kong?

 

According to Apple store, iPAD mini is cheaper in hk...

 

How about Nexus 7?

32GB 3G version for Nexus 7 is about 400SGD including shipping to SG from google play store.

Have to use freight forwarder as they don't sell direct.

For apple products...the price is very controlled.

 

The difference is not more than 50 bucks inclusive of exchange rates as well.

 

Dun later buy a China iPad Mini instead....hahahahaha...

Lol, so afterall the iPad still from china. I have one friend ordered the iPad from apple online store, and iPad was shipped from shenzhen to sgp.

actually i sold my ipad 2 away and bought the mini...

seriously so far no diff...

but i took the cellular version because since i already have the SIM card...

 

Best part now is probably the weight and size...

makes it much easier to bring it out...

Perhaps you are right that the ipad mini is now smaller, lighter and much easier to carry out. I find i-Pad way too heavy and big to carry around.

If TS is going HK, can check out the apple store at Causeway Bay - read they are opening one branch there. Shouldn't be too hard to spot.

i was in hk a few days back.. ipad mini all out of stock in stores. online is 2399

i'm using the nexus 7 wifi. pity it doesn't have rear cam. its a good size to bring out and i reckon sometimes, i might take that odd pic or 2. not a big deal but the reason google gave was keep cost down. i mean if u can build better and price is similar to mini, y not? sometimes, no need to win on price alone.

 

anyway, it's the best android tablet i use so far. much better than previous ones.
