The yellow one is the "Engine Check light",maybe due to a bad Oxygen sensor, the red one is the low brake fluid or parking brake light.

Hi thks for your info. But are we able to fix it?

Should be, just a matter of how much $$$ it will cost you. Your workshop should have the equipment that can get a read-out of what the issue is.

Turbocharged

Hi thks for your info. But are we able to fix it?

The indicator lighted up cos one of your car's sensors detected a abnormality or fault in your car mechanics.

So the best to to let the workshop guy check the issue. Usually they got a handheld device which they will plug into the car to retrieve the "error code".

From the error code they can diagnose where the problem lies and advise accordingly.

The light will/can be rese or turn offt, but will light up again if nothing was done...

Sometimes it's nothing much and could be sensor dirty, just cleaning it will fix the "false errors". But sometimes it highlights a more seriously problem that may result in imminent failure...

Thks for your info. Hopefully not the serious one. The car still able to drive smoothly and didn't had any store engine.

Read the manual. It say, amber light, drive below 70km/hr. Go to your workshop asap to check.

Mine lit up when it detected my brake sensor switch is not working (no brake light and cannot shift gear from park but can still drive).

Cheers.

Low brake could also mean brake pad going to finish already.

Latio don't use sensor at brake rotor to indicate brake pad wear.

traditional grinding sound is the indication.

Try disconnect yr battery + terminal fr a couple of hrs n put back see how.

Sometimes yr ecu receive corrupted signal wil ask u chk got problem.

If it keeps coming back u hv to go ws diagnose n pay money.

Or when u slam e emergency brakes on a downslope...................................and nothing happens. Time to change yr brake pads. [shocked][sweatdrop][angel]

Just send my car to Tan Chong Service Centre this morning. Got a from the adviser, told me my Oxygen Sensor is faulty, need to be replaced. Cost: $546 exclude GST. But I didn't change it. Heard my friend who used to be a mechanic told me maybe is just a mild problem. As I didn't drive for the last 5 days, It had trigger more O2 that's why the engine light on. Just reset can already. Oxygen sensor can last up to 150000km. And my car mileage only 75000km. But even I told them to reset, they still charge me $120 exclude GST. Super expensive.

Cut throat. Most outside workshops can do it cheaper.

Ya lor. They thought I carrot. Later go collect the car, maybe go bargain again the cost for resetting. $120 for resetting is too much. Myself also know how to do. Damn it. Daylight robbery.

reset 120? my goodness, just disconnect the battery and let it sit for 2 hours for the ECU to clear. But it doesnt solve the underlying probelm.
