I once stopped by their police midnight drive from St Louis to Chicago for driving 70miles on a 50miles road.

Lucky ulu place, the police only take a look at my IDP (not driving license), just warn me do not speed.

No ticket issued. Maybe he was in good mood.

No more seats for Emergency exit liao. Bloody hell, 3 months in advance book also dont have. When i booked, the plane is already half full liao. Think need 1 year to 6 months in advance.

If the onboard seats are not chargeable, usually the EMEX seats are blocked by the Airlines.

They normally block out the exit row seats.

 

Go earlier to the airport that day and request for the seats. Be nice to the counter staff, can get one.

Last time before SQ start to charge for emergency exit seat, after booking I will call straight away.

For you is easy, just tell them your height. Maybe lucky they give you free upgrade.

Qatar Airways just replied me. So i guess i have to be at the gate early as it is first come first serve and no booking allowed for Emergency exit seats.

Strictly speaking, no, because your license is in English. They may be a bit confused that your license does not have an expiry date. If you want trouble free-motoring, get the IDP but I feel it is optional.
