i did mentioned in ur thread before to go for the lesser known ISPs..well on positive note..u're still faster than 71% of SG

 

 

cf my 10mbps this is screaming....no complaints...but not the 200 they advertise [laugh] [laugh]

Ask you go with MyRepublic liao...orbi guud.

 

 

myrepublic just gave me a download speed yield of 30mbps niah... not 100mbps leh..

 

upload speed is 35mpbs.... i tot usually download speed is higher?

are these speeds really that fast? as in instantaneous loading of pages and videos??

 

sorry... me still using free singtel 2mb... and i think i'm fine with it. lol

Well it is when u are downloading stuff, as for webpage loading not much different cause the load is minimal unless the whole website is full of java/flash/media content.

I'm on the StarHub Hubstation 1 Mbps free thing and have no problem watching TV over the internet or youtube or surfing.

 

No buffering or anything.

 

Why pay for what you don't need.

 

i download torrent stuff at 12.5Mb/sec leh.. around 100Mbps leh.

You have a point, but looks is hard to judge, but speed can be measured. But then again, they can say due to this & this reason, your speed is slow...

you're probably not a heavy user. Your internet is free? Then how much do you pay per month for your home phone line?

For 40 bucks, i get a free phone line, a mobile 3G sim with 1GB to use on the go and 100mbps on fibre optics with M1.

Pretty reasonable if you ask me.
