We Are Still The BEST..... SIA

I'm PPS for quite a while.

I notice SIA's service is very superficial & not sincere - the crew does NOT work as a team at all

When crisis arises, instead of seeing the needs of passengers (or to hear them), they start to defend

To me, the Korean Airlines are picking up & picking fast!

Sometimes, its not about the facilities, its about a simple 'welcome aboard' & how they (the air crew) cherishes you rather than just lips work.

SIA, sigh.

Lips work, Akira?

Eh... what crisis have you been through? The only "crisis" I went through was plane delay. The last time was last year I think when a plane skidded off the track and my flight was affected. They offered free meal vouchers so no major problem except for the delay.

Compare with a lot of other airlines, I don't really have much complaints on the service quality. Sometimes have to give and take. Nothing is perfect.

Cabin crew screw-up.......astonishing caper.

SINGAPORE — A Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight from Hong Kong to Singapore was delayed for three hours on Feb 26 after some of its cabin crew members were found to have breached security procedures.

A spokesperson from Hong Kong International Airport told Channel NewsAsia on Wednesday (March 7) that five crew members from flight SQ861 had entered the restricted area at the departures level “without carrying crew permits and undergoing security screening”.

At about 3.40pm that day, airport security reported that three crew members from the flight had breached security. The flight was supposed to take off at 3.45pm, but it only departed at 6.20pm due to the incident.

It was later found that two other crew members of the same flight had also entered the departures level without crew permits and undergoing security screening. They subsequently boarded the flight, said the spokesperson.

The police were called to handle the case according to existing procedures. As part of security procedures, the spokesperson said that passengers and crew members on the flight were required to go through security checks all over again.

“According to standard procedures, cabin crew arriving at Hong Kong International Airport and departing on the same aircraft under a different flight code (should they choose to leave the aircraft) are required to carry crew permits and go through security screening at the arrival levels before accessing the aircraft via the departures level of the restricted area,” he added.

Responding to TODAY’s queries, an SIA spokesperson said some of its cabin crew members operating the flight were “required to assist airport authorities in an investigation”. However, the spokesperson did not provide further details about the investigation.

“This resulted in additional security screenings, which required the passengers to disembark from the aircraft,” said the national carrier.

“After the checks were completed, the crew members were allowed to operate the flight and passengers reboarded before the flight departed Hong Kong at around 1820hrs local time.”

English also so bad.

"we did not offer any champagne by your service crew."

I think he meant to write we were not offered any champagne . . .

Its obvious this one not the sharpest tool in the box.

Wah premium economy asking for champagne.

I suspect he meant cremant or sparkling wine lah. Provided they even serve that in premium economy.

Give him Prosecco then say, this is the premium champagne made with traditional method he also very happy and cannot differentiate them. But don't dare to ask, just act he knew it.

When I travelled the business class only dare asked for the premium Cab Sau on the wine list. Because I know champagne, sparkling wines and beer makes me bloated and want to fart.

Premium Economy is still Economy.

Got a free upgrade to PE from Economy recently and I’m still wondering what the fuss is about. If i want extra legroom, i juz pay a little to book the exit row seat in Economy. More legroom than first class. Lol

To appreciate the difference gotta go min biz class. Even so, some airline biz class can feel like Economy

Don’t be a dick n comprain abt champagne in PE lah
