Got from Changi duty-free on the way out since we weren't sure what was going to be available at Bali.

Look damn shiok! How much you spent in all? I visited the website and the price quite high wor.

I think we spent about sgd 4k at the resort.

Got the villa for around sgd 25xx for 3 nights and spent around sgd 1.5k at the resort itself (room service/dining/airport transfer/car+driver for a night out).

Maybe another 400-500 for dinner+drinks at Kilo and general tipping the resort staff/drivers. Plus 150 for duty-free alcohol.

Agar agar about sgd 4.7k? Excluding airfare lah.

if u are sharing a villa there in a large group at uluwatu, it's about 600+/night. If 1-2 bedroom villa, it's closer to 900/night.

Good for sexy couple time  [laugh]

And uluwatu is far off the beaten track. U'll eat and drink at the resort which racks up quite a bill as well.

There's no alcohol in Bali?  Is it that all alcohol are banned in Indonesia?

Bali set to impose US$10 levy on foreign tourists to help save the environment

DENPASAR (JAKARTA POST/ASIA NEWS NETWORK) - Bali is set to impose a US$10 (S$13.60) levy on foreign tourists that will go towards environment and cultural preservation.

The Bali administration has drafted a bylaw on the levy, which it has been discussing with lawmakers since December.

Bali Governor Wayan Koster said the revenue from the tourist tax would be used to fund programmes on preserving the environment and Balinese culture.
