How long you planning to stay at Penang?

I am driving up to Penang on 15 December early in the morning.

This will be my 5th time driving up.

 

My return trip will cover Ipoh, Cameron Highlands and KL, staying in each place for at least one day.

i think it's about 7 to 8 hours inclusive of 3 to 4 stops.

been driving to kl & genting... this will be my fist drive to penang.

and shift to town after that for 2 night. leaving penang on 12-12-2012.

not shiong one lah... just be careful after crossing the tunnel after ipoh. the road very curvy.

True. I find it quite tiring to go in a convoy. Done once to Genting. Always need to maintain speed, keep looking out for each car, cannot stop to pee anytime unless pre-arranged, etc.

 

I have driven to Penang and beyond a few times already. Drive slow and steady. Enjoy the leisurely drive itself. Often I will stop overnight to rest, more so for the kids.

agree. th temptation to "chiong" is always there. well if you do until 150kph maybe i can

still "see you". im going with family lah bro.....i just drop the "chiong"/"spiritual drive.

may be that drive will exclude the family....

we are drivin "free and easy" any needs we can send message to each other.

done this before. i find it quite fun. those organised convoy with more than 15 cars.....

this one needs proper coordination.
