A summary of my positive encounter with a steady buyer:

 

Posted an ad to sell my used tyres.

Received an enquiry last night and the seller on the deal with a reasonable closing price.

Deal went on as planned and it was concluded.

Buyer requested for a small discount which is very acceptable to me, in short, not LOW-BALLER.

Friendly young buyer and highly recommended.

Negative encounter with a seller from another forum (suspected subaru forum)

 

I posted an ad requesting for a centre OEM part for my car.

I explicitly asked if his was the same model as my car and he mentioned yes.

Ok, that very night , I saw his car and it occured to me it is not the same model as mine.

Nevertheless, he pass me the item and said it could fit.

I checked with 2 friends and they confirmed that it cant be used for my model as mine is JDM and that was from a euro spec.

Immediately I ask to return the item by sending it back to his door step and get my refund.

He gave excuses aka not convenient as he was travelling to Hong Kong the next day.He told me to try at the workshop. If cant, he would refund me when he return.

Indeed I confirm with the workshop and it cant be used for my car.

It has been weeks that he has returned from his trip but never has he bothered to contact me about this.

It is only $120 but i think its not about money but principle and integrity.

I highly discourage people to deal with this individual.

If you have to , proceed with care and caution.

His hp ends with 5999 and he drives a red Subaru with a silver colored bonnet.

nice seller, sincere, shared afew tips, tire shops to avoid...

my bro here went high and low to look for a new set of tires to cater to me as i need used tires asap cos selling my ride...

 

i also have my share of lowballers buyer where talk so much ask for less then at last back out (waste my freaking time) but bot for this bro... i had a pleasant day today!!!
