I don't know. But the effect of Lucas is obvious now that he's improved. Don't keep saying he contributed a lot in the 1st 1-2 seasons. He didn't period. He only got better in the last 2 years.

Saturday's game,

Sterling - good movement but many moments of poor decision making. He's 17 - 18 so panchan him. 5.5/10

Suarez - tried his best though it wasn't his best game. Still makes life difficult for defenders 6/10

Allen - can play 1-2 but well... nothing else out of him. 5/10

Stevie G - given his age and current form, i don't think we can expect much more from him. 5.5/10.

The best players from the game were Lucas surprisingly fit after his layoff and Enrique. 6.5 to 7/10

i didnt say first 2 season lah.

why you so sensitive. i talking about the 3rd season onwards. when ppl keep highlighting his so called mistake which are a result of him working for the team. anyway lets not get there again. its past.

haha Allen for now ...

But for someone playing in a more advanced midfield position as opposed to Lucas, he is really not offering

a) vision and penetration

b) forward passing - he's still trying to play his short direct to feet passes

c) shooting - not much evidence to go by, but i think he cant hantam a ball half as good as shelvey.

JH comes on nowadays late on and runs around like a mad hare.

At least he's really trying to impress the boss now that he cant cast his voodoo spell over KD.

let's hold our horses on Allen first. This is the first game in awhile whereby he is pushed up a little more. give him a few more games first lah..

Do you all find that Pool play well against strong team, and not so well against weaker team ? like against southampton . should have won more comfortably.

actually pool played pretty well against Southampton minus the goals. dominate from start to end.

so not sure what you mean by play well against strong team but not so well against weaker team as sometime goal line doesnt tell a lot about the game.

However, if you are saying somehow pool cant score against weaker team... this is to mean that liverpool

1) dont know how to score/create when opponent park a bus. or

2) dont have the player to score goal in crowded situation.

which i agree... top team in current erra are those that can score goals against team who park a bus.

look at utd. opposition score 3 goals.. they then score 4 goals loh, non-issue haha.

even with such a poor defense, they can out-score the opposition.

yes that's what i meant actually, not able to score more against weaker teams the we dominated.

i will attribute it to us not having a Fox in the Box.

the problem at hand is how we can find such a Fox which BR feels can fit into the anfield box...

Wonder if by the time this thread hits 100 pages, will Liverpool have gotten a striker or 2......

if they get one decent striker in Jan.. i will be contended enough..

the last transfer window still stuck in my mind.. waiting for another striker signing.. until the cows literally came home... [bigcry]

I think we should help Borini recover fully asap and then condition him and let him adapt to EPL, hopefuly can bring out the best in him. Look at his skills in Seria A. He should be good for at least ten over goals per season if he is to live up to his potential and his past ability.

With limited Resource, and falling reputation due to lack of Champion league.

Can you please tell BR to wake up and just find one Fox who is willing to join and try to accommodate him first? [laugh]

hard lah.. he has a reputation to protect mah.. if not, it will make him and owners lose face and loss of words to explain their so-called long-tern plans...

cos they rather send a 35m giant FOX out on loan lol... [hur]

though you are strongly suppporting that move.. seeing how you argue with us on that. (anyway does west ham have something wrong in their training? we send them a perfectly healthy big guy and they injured him twice in the role [lipsrsealed] )

or you decide in MCF liverpool thread better to speak your mind rather than explain on behalf of owner and manager(hard to do job. :P)

neither lah. Actually, i didnt fully agree with AC gg out loan. initially, I was hoping he didnt. sometimes i do agree at that juncture with the mgmt... most often times, not willingly but "resigned"... this was the case for AC.

I have also got nothing to explain for the mgmt. i am not their spokesman in MCF ok haha.. i have maintained (or at least tried to) a neutral stance all long on the owners and BR. my take is that we prolly got to assess them over a longer period of time, esp for BR. FSG is still a fairly new owner and new to EPL too. but based on the last transfer window, i have marked them down too (mentally)

what i try to avoid is to become an overly negative supporter.. complain excessively about owners and BR... as you said, they operate under limited resources which we really do not understand fully enough. Also, I guess that irregardless whether it is BR or FSG or otherwise, i will still continue support the Reds.. that's more important
