Turbocharged

With Chelsea & WBA losing, along with Spurs winning, all 3 have 26 pts, occupying 3rd, 4th, 5th.

With the win, Liverpool now have 19pts, 7 behind, but whole lot of clubs in between.....

Still have much to do.

Again, same story, all the possesion and shots, poor returns. (plus our now usual, crossbar/post strike rate!)

To all who are disappointed, I think we are making progress although results are still not showing. The way the team plays now is way better than when KD, hodge and Rafa was in charge.

Btw, for all the Rafa supporters, the results speak for itself. Chelsea results.

We will go to west ham next week and beat them... I hope.

think the regulars here are aware that the team is making progress

its just that many of us dun see the need to keep saying that...

wat we are saying is we still lack the killer touch despite the same issue last season

Woo hooo... We play beautiful and won 1-0.

Anyway let keep a clear mind. We are playing a bottom club team at home.

did u check out southampton away record?

what I m really interested will be the return of Lucas

is he the same as before?

Rusty but can blend well w Allen?

how abt Shelvey n SG? who played upfront n who is more effective in attacking third?

Agree. Playing style is definitely more positive. Now just need someone good to finish it off. Often we see a very good building up...then look 'lost' in front of goal. Quite anti-climax

compare to when he first comeback in the earlier season. he look much flasher and fitter and look more to his usual reaction and body speed time.

but of course we are comparing him against Saints which is struggling with relegation. so we cannot really make a proper verdict.

as for blending well with Allen? first game hard to judge. but can see Allen is more relief as he doesnt need to do as much defending without lucas.

I only worry about how the midfield trio will match up to those who overload midfield w 5 players

Of cos the full backs will push forward to make up the numbers but....

that is when we need the long range pass of joe allen. Anyway it seems that lucas is also capable to doing a long range pass with similar accuracy of alonso.
