That's right bro. That's why I said that if criteria is comfort and aircon, it has to be Estima / Vellfire / Alphard.

But if TS will also like to have a bit of oomph behind the wheels, can look at the Sharan

most jap cars have v good aircon system. that said, my current bimmer's aircon is pretty good too. I change the aircon filter every 20-30K KM & maybe that helps.

VW is still a little scary cause the agent cannot handle that many vehicles sold.

For MPVs, the Chrysler Voyager Face Lifted 2008 up seems quite ok too. But heard its a guzzler.

Else, get a Volvo V70 R / Cross Country or any Mercedes Benz Estate.... they have got 7 seats..... but the rear 2 seats face the rear.

Then you should try the vellfire. I got tailgated on the nshw by one coming back from cny. Not bad. MPV can tailgate RX8. 3.5L is no joke leh..

Oops.. I'm sorry.. Hahaha

LoL...pardon me. Can't help it when I see all of these as fuel guzzlers.

Ppl carrier are made bigger dan sedans. It's a no brainer that they weigh more and consume more fuel. Unless you go for the Japanes CVT gutless engine kinda smaller mid-size MPVs.

To me when you choose ppl carrier or SUV with extra seats you can forget about what fuel economy, performance & even handling (I mean comparing to a sedan). It's the unker family car. Some things you got to give up when you choose such cars.

Aiyah, bro, I concur with u!

Since I acquired the Honda Edix as my family carrier, it has always been loaded with 6 pax and without passengers, the vehicle is already heavy. I am doing 8-9 km/ltr. Was bitching about it at first, but when I look at my driving situation, it is justified.

Seriously though, the Chrysler is nicknamed the water buffalo (Chwee gu in hokkien) as it consumes more than the rest!
