Newbielee Neutral Newbie November 1, 2012 Share November 1, 2012 Could eye lids just help to minimize the glare coming from aftermarket hid conversion headlamps? By covering a fraction of the top portion of the headlamp, light from hid only shines through the bottom portion of the headlamp casing....hmmmm..what do u think? Peaceful discussion please ↡ Advertisement

High_octane 1st Gear November 1, 2012 Share November 1, 2012 I guess it does help if you cover like 1/3 of the headlight... But from LTA site... Tinting or masking of vehicle lamps is not allowed

Peaceful discussion please if your headlights are reflector type, please do everyone a favor and remove your hid. It is very glaring to other motorists be it you are oncoming or you are behind. HID should only be used on projector type of headlights.
Airwaver 4th Gear December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 Why do you want to minimize the glare in the 1st place? So that it doesnt blind the front car? If yes, convert to normal bulbs better.
Gee 1st Gear December 19, 2012 Share December 19, 2012 You can adjust the angle further down, it may help reduce the glare.
Sing February 3, 2013 Share February 3, 2013 I think can change light bulb color. The glaring onces are the blue/ white light. If yellow should be ok
