If car is air tight, will u even be able to breathe!!!

Adrainli is correct

if your car is airtight, the air inside will start with about 21% oxygen level and this will slowly diminish and be replaced by carbon dioxide

then either you get light headed from insufficient oxygen and crash the car or suffocate and die from lack of oxygen

What you can do is shut off the air con completely when u smell something funny or u can see smog infront of you.

I guess some cars are really air tight.

Because I know some high end cars have designed one way valves to allow air to escape, to allow the door to shut properly. Some cars even lowered the windows slightly, to alow the door to shut properly too.

If one sleep in such cars without the aircon on or windows open, I think the CO level will rise easily and kill the driver.

Especcially in winter/autumn times, where no air is required, the long distance driver could be deadly. But I believe, the breath moisture will fog up the windshield, and the driver is naturally 'forced' to lower the windows occasionally to equalize the inside air to reduce fogging. Thereby reducing the risk of high level CO in such air tight cars!

There are several ways to know if you have an airtight car and none of them are pleasant. That's because the passenger compartment of your car is not designed to be airtight. So its difficult both the ways.

U think your car is a space shuttle cabin? Air tight?

First, your back seat and car boot area is not air tight. Secondly, all your doors are not air tight. Thirdly, your air con system is not air tight. How to get fresh air if the car is totally 100% vacuum air tight??
