Can use paste wax to polish headlight

Any harm using wax to polish the glass of the headlight lamp? The glass got very stubborn water marks.

cleared some minor scratches

try white toothpaste in soft circular motions then wipe off...

Try soft 88? Everyone have been talking about it good for removing stain on paint.
