It's quite a feat to generate 250 horses from a turbocharged 1.6 litre engine.

 

I haven't heard of any engine (at the moment) that can achieve this...

 

250 horse is VERY achievable with a 1.6 engine with Turbo. It's not cutting edge feat, it's just how much the manufacturer want to tune the force induction and how much buffer they want to give.. Don't compare it with the gains you get on a NA engine cos basically with the turbo you can "cheat" all the way with many avenues to tune.

 

That's the good thing about force induction is it's cheap boost of power and can even fulfil the strict Euro6 emission standards.

the 8th gen european civic also has hidden rear door handles for the 5 door model.

 

looks like high revving turbo engine.

 

there is only one other turbo ivtec which is Acura RDX 2.4L
