most probably it's show room test car, mileage 1000km above, molested by thousand hands

As long as u are the first owner, when you sell it, even if its a million hands, the second hand dealer still give you a price of a car not touch by a single human hands...LOL

Saw on sgcarmart promo section, new Passat 1.8 price starting from 107k. Sounds too good to be true?! Comments anyone?

The price excludes COE.

DCC confirm don't have on the new B8 Passat Exclusive model. Only the CC comes with it standard. Currently it is not possible to retrofit the DCC on the B8 as well.

The only B7 in Spore and Malaysia with the DCC installed is here

You are correct. On the Exclusive model 2.0 the DCC is standard. Checked the showroom Rline model...the DCC is controlled via a MODE switch at the left side of the DSG shifter.

On the 1.8 it is not even an option

Neutral Newbie

I am having some issues on my passat cc 1.8 (2011).  Sometimes when I accelerate, the car vibrates badly.  Brought it to VW and they said nothing wrong.  Anyone has the same problem?

Most likely DSG gearbox related.

Wonder why still many naive owners buying Volkswagen despite so many DSG problems.

Because despite the risk...nothing drives like a VW given the cost of the car and the modibility !

Better get a specialist to test the car properly. May not be a DSG problem. Sudden jering could be related to fuel supply or electrical issue.

A DSG issue once there.....will stay there until repaired

Does it happen only after you have driven for while, esp in start-stop traffic? If so, it's really normal. Part and parcel of DSG...
